Use the compact mode

You can hide the Process model overlay panel and display the panel in compact mode to obtain a better view of the process model. You can enable the compact mode of the panel in edit and view mode of the Process model overlay app.

  1. Open the Process model overlay app. The app opens in view mode. In view mode, the compact mode of the panel is enabled by default.

  2. Click the Compact view icon at the bottom of the Process model overlay panel to toggle between the compact and expanded mode.

  3. In compact mode, you have several options for configuring the process model overlay.

    1. Use the slider to adjust the number of variants. If you open the slider completely, you select all variants. Use the +/- button to add or remove single variants.

    2. Click the Open link Open published model icon to open the published model in ARIS.

    3. Click the Measures Measures icon to specify the measures for the process model overlay.

You used the compact mode of the Process model overlay panel.

You can specify whether the compact mode or normal mode of the Process Model Overlay panel is displayed by default when you open the Process model overlay app in view mode. Open the edit mode of the App builder. Open the Configuration panel of the Process model overlay component. Click the Arrow icon next to Display. Enable or disable the Compact mode option. The option is enabled by default.
