Create an HTTP extraction

Create an HTTP extraction for extracting data using the REST-API.

Prerequisite

You created an HTTP connection.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Open a data set.

  2. Click Extraction in the Data set panel. The Extractions section opens.

  3. Click Add extraction > HTTP extraction. The Add HTTP extraction dialog opens.

  4. Specify a name for the new HTTP extraction. The name must be unique.

  5. You can specify a namespace for the extracted source tables. By default, the extraction name and namespace are the same, but you can specify a different namespace. The namespace must be unique.

    Note that "_ARIS" is not allowed as a namespace.

  6. Select a connection from the drop-down menu. Only HTTP connections are provided.

  7. Click Add.

You created an HTTP extraction.

You can now configure the HTTP extraction.
