Data extraction
Data extraction is about retrieving and collecting different types of data from a wide variety of data sources, for example, an SAP source system.
Process Extractor as an extraction service retrieves process data from the SAP data source system and transfers it to ARIS Process Mining Cloud, where it is stored for further processing.
The data extraction from the SAP system is performed following an extraction description. This extraction description is defined on the basis of a visual data model description in ARIS Process Mining. The description specifies the data tables and data columns to be extracted from the respective SAP systems.
