Create an insight link
Create an insight link to enable other users to access analysis data in ARIS Process Mining. The insight link provides a REST-API URL to request the data in JSON format. The data provided is based on your data configuration that can include dimensions, measures, scripted definitions, and filters.
Click Insight links in the data set panel. The Insight links section opens.
Click Create. The Add insight link editor opens.
Click Add dimension or Add measure to specify the criteria provided in the insight link. The Model panel opens.
Select the dimensions or measures to add to the insight link. You can add multiple dimensions and measures. Insight links also support scripted definitions.
Click Done. The selected criteria are displayed in table form on the Data preview page by default.
You can also display the data preview in JSON format. Click the
icon.
You can configure the insight link settings with the configuration panel on the right-hand side of the editor.
You must enter a unique name for the insight link.
Click Add dimension or Add measure to add further dimensions and measures.
Move the mouse pointer over a criterion and click
Remove to remove the criterion from the insight link.
Move the mouse pointer over a criterion and click
Configure to edit, for example, the measure name or format.
Move the mouse pointer over a measure and click
Edit aggregation to specify the measure aggregation.
You can add various filters to the insight link.
Select Filters from the drop-down menu in the configuration panel.
Click Add filter.
Select a filter method, that is, a field filter, activity filter, or process flow filter. The corresponding editor opens.
Specify the filter settings.
The filter is added to the configuration panel, and the data displayed in the preview is filtered according to your filter settings.
Click Create.
The insight link is added to the Insight links page.
You can copy the link to share it with other users or to use it, for example, as a URL in the ARIS table or JSON data source operator.
