Activity
An activity is an action or task that can be performed for a process instance. The activities are the steps, or status changes, that happen in your process, for example, order created, order approved, and missing information.
For the purpose of analysis, the event log must contains all activities that describe the relevant business milestones in the process. If the event log contains activities that are not relevant (such as debugging information), these activities can be filtered out by the process mining software.
